Yes I'm going, I'm so excited. After moping around for the last two months thinking I wasn't going to get to go. Mom said book the tickets, we're going. Unfortunately my sister Maliouspixie won't be going(sob), it'll just be me and Mom this time. At least the week before, Pix and I will get to go to Phoenix Rising together.
I've been planning my ass off, and I got a great trip planned out this year. Last year I put 1439 miles on the rental car, this year will be much worse. Mom wants to go to Cornwall first and then up to York and Norththumberland and then on to Edinburgh. We'll drive back down and stay a couple of days in London. So I've been looking to see what HP sites I can squeeze into out route and came up with a few I haven't seen before. Lacock Abbey, where Snape's class room was filmed will be the first . Then Mom wants to see Tintagel castle, in Cornwall. Which if "Deathly Hallows" has anything to do with the Arthurian Legend, I'll have a jump on that film site. Also if you have ever seen pics of Tintagel Castle, you would know it would be the perfect place to film the cave scene from "Half Blood Prince". My next HP stop will be the train station (Hogsmead)in the York Moors, and then up to Alwick Castle where the outside scenes of Hogwarts were flimed. Finally Edinburgh where it all started and hopefully not ended, JK just has to write more eventually. Of course I'll be stuck having to see every church and village in England with Mom, but at least I'll get some flim sites out of the deal. Thank God my Dad refused to ever go back and Mom needs a driver. Thank God I have a wonderful husband that will take care of the kids for 2 weeks, I never open my mouth during hunting season, nope not a word, he can go all he wants<G>... Only one thing sucks about the deal, Mom refuses to go see Equus. It will still be playing when I'm in London, No naked Dan for me, Damn!
What started out as a sucky year is turning out to be one hell of a summer. Phoenix Rising, then England, then TOotP movie, and to top it off the book, I will never have a better summer. It's going to be a sad August though, everything will just be done, over. I'm getting depressed just thinking about it. After a rollercoaster of a summer, and then blah, blah, blah... It's like knowing you're going to have the best sex of your life for 2 months only to have your partner castrated after that. Nothing ever again not even a twitch, just limp.
Where some fan fic, I'm depressing myself. I really shouldn't stay up all night and get bored, I get morbid.
