Wandmaking for beginners

 I've always wanted to try my hand at making my own wand. So I gave it a shot and I think I did pretty well for a first attempt.  MaliciousPixie found this limb that the wood had grown around a vine, so it was a perfect spiral shape.  It was about the size of my arm when I started, but it seems that a Dremel is my new best friend. It took about 3 hours to finally get it down to the perfect size and shape, but I think it turned out beautiful. Then my sister said it would be really cool to have a snake spiraling around it, so I brought out my paint and got busy. I have to say I'm kinda of proud of it, I never thought  I'd have any talent what so ever when it came to wood working.

  I think it will be a perfect  deatheater wand.  Now I have to find me some robes and a mask for Droxy's Deatheater brigade and I'll be ready for Portus. I still have to make MaliciousPixie a wand too. <G>
