I suppose it's time I get off my lazy ass and post my pics from last weekend. Why is it that coming back from a vacation I'm always worse off than before I left. Taking the kids anywhere is exhausting, taking the kids to the beach is even worse. I hate the sand, I hate the sun, and I hate the nasty water, but spending time with the kids is worth it. Although I haven't felt like doing anything since I got back, so I'm sorry i haven't replied to anything on my flist since last week, just to damn tired.
Well anyway, we went down to Gulf Shores it's only about 2 hours away. We stayed at Perdido Beach Resort, which was very nice but a little crowded. A convention was going on at the time *smirk*. I was staring at all these people dressed up in ties and business attire and thinking to myself that if they only knew what kind of conventions I went too. They looked so damn bored, maybe a few deatheaters might have livened up that crowd but I doubt it.
Sitting out on the beach in the middle of the day is torture. We finally manage to drag them back inside after about an hour and then we went and played some mini golf. The kids were fighting the entire time about who got to go first. I just knew one of us what going to end up hit in the head with a golf club any minute. Then we went back to the hotel and hit the pool, which was really neat. The kids were amazed that you could swim through a passage in the wall and end up in the indoor pool. I guess it doesn't take much to impress the kids. Later that night we took flashlights and went down to the beach. Now that I enjoyed, I loved walking around looking for shells and hearing the waves and no sun. I've never understood why so many people chase skin cancer by baking themselves. Give me spray on tan any day. At night the beach was beautiful and quiet, you could see so many stars. I could have stayed out there all night. After getting the kids to bed, my sister and I stayed out on the balcony just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Next day we went to Waterville. I like water parks, the slides are fun, but best of all is the wave pool. Finally a beach I like, no sand and clean water, shame about the sun though. If it would have been cloudy it would have been perfect *G*. Then finally we went home (yeah). The kids had a great time and I have suitcases filled with sand and a pile of dirty laundry to wash, but it was worth it. I love seeing them happy and so carefree.

Laney's on the right and that's my niece on the left

Here's my sister Maliciouspixie

One of these days, she just might catch one of those gulls

Pretty view from the balcony

Our hotel at night

Here's the Jr. Deatheaters *g* Hayley's in the background, she didn't want her picture taken in her bathing suit. Kelton the bestfriend came with us, we might as well adopt her, she's always at my house anyway.

Here's my favorite one of my niece

Here's my favorite of Laney, I just wish Hayley would have let me take more of her.

The little ones had a good time, but the older ones thought mini golf was lame.
I won't bore you with the other 200+ pictures I took.
