Finally the worst is over
Yeah! I have power! The lights came back on about an hour ago. I don't mind the rain but when its windy and tornado warnings, and Lightening, I panic. I have always hated lightening but the roaring wind didn't bother me til Katrina. Ever since then I just get nauseous and panic.
It was awful here during Katrina, we lost 11 trees, the roof, the garage doors and my basset hound which was in the garage. We built our house about 12 years ago and it's well built because of all the hurricane restrictions. During Katrina, the inside walls were vibrating. Plus all the noise outside, things hitting the roof, so it's little wonder every time it gets bad weather I want to huddle in a closet. I really need to post my pics of the damage. My pictures of the damage in Biloxi are terrifying.
