Mind the gap!

Woo Hoo !!! 5 more days and London here I come. Unfortunately my sister won't be going with me this year, which sucks. I'm going to miss you Robin, it won't be the same without you this time. Mom will drive me crazy on this trip, but I'll at least be childless for 12 days. I'll miss the kids and hubby but it really nice once and awhile to only be responsible for one's self.

So I'll be completely slash free for 12 days(I'm going to die) so please list sibs write lots of good stuff so I'll have plenty to read when I get back. God I hope Corvus comes out before Monday (that's worth skipping England for) hurry up beta Please!!

Wish me luck as well, I've rented one of those long boats in Llangollen and if its possibly to wreck or sink one I'll manage. Me driving a boat LOL thats a first. Also taking the day trip to Paris and I can only say "bon jour" with a very southern twang. I'll bet they'll laugh me right out of the damn country. Well at least I won't understand a word they say.

Word of warning to any Brits out there if you value your life, stay off the roadways next week. I'll be the one in the rental car, with "Sweet Home Alabama" song blasting on the radio, trying to figure out how to get out of the traffic circle. I might be in the wrong lane as well. I actually like driving over there, it just takes me a couple of hours to get use to it. Hell I like everything about England though, I would move over there if I could. One thing about it that I hate, no ice. You can't get a cold coke anywhere over there. American's at least Southern ones need lots of ice.

I also have been trying to quit using my Southern slang all week just so I won't embarrass myself. I have been repeating over and over "I will not say fixing ". I am going to do something, not fixing to do it. Southern accents are great but we have that hillbilly twang that I wish I could get rid of.
